Woolworths re-opens along with Market Pavilion

After a lengthy construction period that lasted for around 11 months, the new Market Pavilion food precinct and Woolworths have finally re-opened to the public. Whilst the Woolworths re-opening was delayed by several months, the new Market Pavilion has opened mostly on-time after a construction blitz that included overnight works throughout March 2025.
A number of shops remain unfinished and will open in the coming weeks, such as the new Commonwealth Bank branch which will be located between the exterior Woolworths entrance and a new ANZ bank branch. A new Westpac branch opened several weeks earlier, taking place of the old Australia Post shop site.
In conjunction with the launch of the Market Pavilion, the Middle Rd entrance to the underground carpark 'E' has also been re-instated, despite the roundabout and nearby building works still yet to be completed.
