Webster & Capon St unblocked, but bridge unready. Footpath open

The roadblocks at Webster and Capon St (on the southern side of Middle Rd) have been removed, allowing residents access to Middle Rd. Residents may now access Capon St and Webster st from Middle Rd (inbound), or exit to Middle Rd (towards the Shopping Centre).
The bitumen has still not been laid on the Webster St bridge, probably due to damp weather over the last few days. With most non-retail businesses closing up for the Christmas holidays, there is the possibility that no further work on the bridge will occur until after Christmas.
The new Middle Rd footpath has officially been opened to the public. Workers have cleaned up and safened the path, and placed extra signage for pedestrians.
