New ALDI liquor store to open, glimpse of new ChadPlace in 'Fashion Capital' mag

A public notice placed on the temporary facade indicated that 'ALDI' has applied for a
liquor retail license. The store will be located on the site of the former 'Classic Butchers'
store (next to Fisch). This will be one of the few stores selling liquor. It will fill the
general alcohol retail void, as dedicated stores such as LiquorLand have not made an appearance
in Chadstone. Normally shoppers would need to visit a liquor shop such as the Holmesglen Beer Wine Spirits
store (next to the Matthew Flinders Hotel).
