Blocked off walkway causes pedestrians to risk their lives

Many pedestrians who are unable to walk through the barricaded area are risking their safety by
walking on the road.
A little-known alternative path is to walk down the stairs, through the basement carpark and back up the stairs next to Petbarn, however there is no signage to inform confused pedestrians.
