Construction at comes to a halt as CFMEU members protest

CFMEU members working on the Chadstone Shopping Centre construction have walked off the job at 10am to join a union rally in protest of their union being brought under administration by the federal government.
It is unclear how long the workers will cease work for, with some sources saying the protests could continue for a week, causing delays to major construction projects such as the new 1 Middle Rd precinct at Chadstone Shopping Centre.
