Webster St Bridge gets side walls, Lane markings on Middle Rd

On Wednesday, construction workers used cranes to lift the side barrier walls onto the new Webster Street bridge. If they adhere to the original artist's impression of the finished product, the bridge side walls will be coloured bright yellow.
Lane markings have been sprayed onto the newly bitumened section. Some minor work still needs to be done at the section joining onto Warrigal Road, but otherwise it looks promising, and could be opened to traffic within a week.
