Webster St Bridge finally opens, after several nights of disturbing roadworks

The Webster Street Bridge has finally been opened to traffic, almost a week after bitumen was laid. Residents are now able to enjoy the benefits of the new bridge, but at a cost of being about three months overdue.
Over the last two nights, bitumen laying took place along Middle Road and Warrigal Road. Construction workers used jackhammers at varous times throughout the night into the early hours, keeping nearby residents awake.
