Chadstone's new Mall set to open in late 2009, Old mall destroyed

Currently work is well underway in revamping the western side of the Centre. Most of the exterior of the old buildings between David Jones and
Borders have been excavated, and new foundations are being constructed. The surrounding ring roads have also been diverted whilst the excavations take place.
The old malls are in the process of being demolished, making way for the new West mall development. CDL are still under contract for this latest job.
The new mall should be fully ready for the 2009 Christmas shopping season.
