New stores open in Chadstone Place

Last week, a raft of new stores finally opened in the first of the new "Outdoor-style" shopping areas, dubbed the new Chadstone Place.
The result of the new openings has meant that many stores have been relocated, making it difficult for shoppers to find their way around for the next few weeks.
Now that some of the shops have relocated to the new ChadstonePlace, the Western side of Chadstone Shopping Centre is being revamped. A large section
of existing building (near David Jones and Borders) has been demolished, making way for the new style of outdoor shopping strips.
Amongst the new stores to open (on the old ChadstonePlace carpark) are:
- 1st Choice Liquor
- Dick Smith
- Pets at Home
- Kathmandu
- St George Bank
- Commonwealth Bank
- Westpac Bank
- RACV
Meanwhile at the eastern end of the complex, construction workers have closed the upper level
and portions of the lower levels of the Coles multilevel carpark. Builders will reinforce the
carpark to enable higher capacity, and also connect a bridge and ramp to the new Chadstone Place building and carparks.
